Bigfoot Central, home of the Legend of Bigfoot Museum located in Silverton, Colorado, has announced a photography Hunt for Bigfoot to be held in the San Juan Region of the state during the week of July 10-14, 2010 with a $1,000,000.00 reward being offered to the first person that presents an authenticated photo of a live Bigfoot taken during the event. Event Director, Rick Lewis says "there have been many sightings of Bigfoot being reported in this area over the past 200 years, with recent credible reports of sightings and personal encounters during 2009, and event participants will be given (96) hours to locate and photograph a live Bigfoot within a 100 mile radius of Silverton. This is a good time to make tracks to Silverton and join the hunt for North America's most elusive creature and spend some time outdoors with your family and hundreds of other Bigfoot Enthusiasts." In addition to the $1,000,000.00 reward being offered, other prizes will be awarded for photographs of Bigfoot Physical Evidence such as tracks and shelters as well as for Best Photographs of selected animals in the wild.
