180 IT to Exhibit at CISOA 2010

180 IT will be hosting a booth at CISOA 2010, presenting information about the company's managed IT solutions for community colleges. The event will be held Sunday March 21st through Tuesday March 23rd at the DoubleTree Hilton in Ontario, CA.

180 IT owner Cory Smith has partnered with Extricom Director of Sales, David Wilson, to host a booth presentation at the CISOA 2010 convention.

The event will be held March 21st through March 23rd at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel in Ontario, CA and will be organized by the California Community College Chief Information Systems Officers Association.

The CISOA helps provide direction and professional growth for information technology officers in California community colleges. It also increases recognition of the value and necessity of information technology in California community colleges as a whole.
Speakers will discuss issues relating to data protection, accreditation, public records, section 508 compliance, open source, wireless, and distance education.

Established January 2009, 180 IT will introduce its services to California community colleges, and highlight recent projects at Imperial Valley College, including an Extricom wireless infrastructure deployment, and a Microsoft Exchange 2007 migration.

180 IT will share a booth with wireless solutions manufacturer, Extricom, Inc. Extricom's award-winning Channel Blanket Architecture delivers better RF coverage across the board while minimizing networking and wireless complexity. Voice, data and video applications are supported by a robust Wireless LAN infrastructure that ensures predictable service and seamless mobility in any environment. Extricom will give live demonstrations of the roaming and fault tolerance capabilities of its products.

180 IT has partnered with Extricom as a value-added reseller, integrating Extricom products into the customer's existing network and ensuring the products are implemented to maximum benefit.

Based in San Diego, 180 IT also offers high quality, value-priced, managed IT services to community colleges. The company has proven to be effective in helping educational institutions control IT costs by providing supplemental on-demand IT resources. This gives the schools access to highly specialized IT professionals as-needed and at the same time allows IT staff to focus on their core job functions.
