2009 AFL Grand Final - Watch the game live in Los Angeles at On the Rocks in Redondo Beach. Party hosted by the OC Bombers Australian Rules Footy Team.

The 2009 Australian Rules Football Grand Final is like the Superbowl of this incredible sport, with millions of viewers from all over the world tuning in every year. This is an intense, fast, high scoring game, and the winning the Grand Final is the ultimate challenge for all 16 professional clubs in Australia.

The game has spread world wide in the last decade, and the LA representative side is the Orange County Bombers, who draw upon players both American and Australian from all over the greater LA area. The Bombers, along with the governing body, the Southern California Australian Rules Football League (SCAFL), are hosting a Grand Final party in Redondo Beach on Friday September 25, with the game shown live at 9pm. The venue is On The Rocks Sports Bar, 239 North Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach CA 90277.

Entry is $10, with proceeds going towards helping the Bombers get to the National Championships in Mason, Ohio on October 10 and 11. With over 40 clubs in the US, Aussie Rules has gained a foothold in this country and continues to grow every year. The Bombers are currently ranked #3 in the USAFL, and are going to the Nationals with a serious chance at the title.

Aussie expats, friends, family and curious Americans are all welcome to join the party and experience the spectacle that is the AFL Grand Final. The game will be played at the holy grail of Australian sporting venues, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, an amazing stadium that has the capacity to hold over 100,000 fans.
