Charles H. Green, Executive Director of Atlanta-based Small Business Finance Institute, recently announced the 2012 schedule for "Financial B%T Camp, a 2-day workshop launched in August, 2011, based on his new book, Get Financing Now (McGraw-Hill). The workshop is for small business owners to learn better strategies to manage their finances and find new capital resources.

"This workshop was very popular among 2011 participants. We listened to their feedback, and will presenting an even better product in 2012," said Green. "The need for this information has never been greater for business owners, as more than 800 banks remain on the FDIC's problem bank list, and angel investors have become more selective in choosing investments."

Financial B%t Camp provides broad perspective on how a small business enterprise is viewed by the third-party funding community and teaches them how to use the metrics funders find in the business financial statements and other financial data.

Participants learn about dozens of equity and debt funding sources available and how to navigate to them. Green added, "It's a lot of information and a lot of work getting through it - and that's why we call it boot camp."
