2013 Ford C-MAX Hybrid Coming Soon To Tom Denchel Ford
Online, July 27, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Ford is breaking the mold again when it comes to hybrids with their all new five passenger 2013 C-MAX and it will soon be at Tom Denchel's Fordcountry.com. Customers can expect value, fuel economy, passenger space, and more with the C-MAX.
The 2012 C-MAX Hybrid introduces MAV multi-active vehicles to the hybrid market. It features a 2.0L hybrid I-4 powertrain that combines with the electric motor to generate 188 horsepower. This five-passenger crossover has an impressive EPA-estimated 47 city/ 44 highway miles per gallon.
For eco-conscious drivers, the C-MAX features SmartGauge with EcoGuide on the dashboard. These LCD screens are located on either side of the speedometer. They feature real-time information in order to help drivers get the most efficiency out of their hybrid. Drivers are kept informed on the car's fuel economy, fuel economy history, odometer, engine coolant temperature and even trip data including trip fuel economy, time-elapsed fuel economy and miles to empty.
The 2012 Ford model also features SYNC with MyFord Touch in order to keep drivers attentive while listening to their favorite radio stations, Pandora stations, or even playlist on their iPod. The voice-command system lets drivers make hand-free phone calls, change the music or even call 911 without taking their hands off the steering wheel.
This crossover is a great family hybrid. The five-passenger vehicle has ample room for families while still providing a spacious cabin. It also features a hands-free lift-gate, innovative storage options and cargo space so families who need enough room to transport cargo can still reduce their carbon footprint.
The 2012 C-MAX also includes standard safety features to protect all passengers. It features a driver's knee airbag, driver's front airbag, front-seat side airbags and side-curtain airbags. The AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control system uses gyroscopic sensors that measure the vehicle's yaw and roll motion that applies brake pressure and adjusts engine power to keep the vehicle under control.
The SOS Post-Crash Alert System automatically activates the horn and emergency flashers any time the airbags deploy. This is a new innovative feature on the 2012 C-MAX Hybrid. It also includes Rain-Sensing Wipers that automatically turn on when the windshield senses moisture.
