In order to properly wield the raw power offered by the 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet prototype, Ford will be giving the winner of this auction drag racing training sessions at Roy Hill's Drag Racing School located in Sophia, North Carolina. The winner will also receive a full tour of the Ford product development center and a backstage pass to the Ford design studios with the chief engineer of the Mustang. The entire experience will be recorded for a Mustang book and future documentary.

The auction itself is aimed at racing teams looking to get a leg-up on the competition. The 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet is capable of a nine-second quarter-mile run and is equipped with a 5.0L supercharged V8 engine. Paired with a T4 racing transmission and an optional traction bar, the pickup on the Mustang Cobra Jet prototype is quite impressive. This vehicle was the prototype for the 2014 model year racer and comes with a unique serial number, exclusive exterior finish, and a license plate clad with the logo of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
