2015 Miami Photo Salon Announces Jurors for the Salon

Miami, FL, July 17, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Miami Photo Salon Festival, the completely open, International Photography Festival that takes place during Miami Art- Miami Beach Art Basel week in Miami- Dade, Florida, is pleased to announce the 2015 panel of jurors for the 2015 Grand Prize, granted among the artists selected by the same panel to exhibit works at the Miami Photo Salon in Spectrum Art Show. The 2015 Best Image Grand Prize ($2,500) winner will be chosen by a panel of three jurors that includes Switzerland-based photographer Luc Chessex, Miami-based visual artist Nereida Garcia Ferraz; and Miami-based radio host Pepe Forte, -El Atico de Pepe-, also a graphic designer, and photographer. This second edition of the Miami Photo Salon will take place Dec 2-6, 2015.

Isabel Sierra, Executive Director of Miami Photo Salon,  said, “We decided to work with jurors who are authorities in their field, but also that will convey a diverse point of view. The task of the jurors is not only to bring to light the objectively very skillful works, but instead they’re committed to uncover works that are unpredicted, and a significant tour de force from their expert perspective.”

The call for entry is open at CaFÉ™ to everyone, regardless the media, equipment, or treatment of the photographic images.
