Moving into the Top 25 for the second time this year is Eastern Illinois at #24. The Panthers were one of three FCS teams to knock off an FBS opponent this week by beating Miami of Ohio 21-17.

Somehow Central Arkansas lost to Samford 35-29 though the statistics dictate something else. With the loss the Bears fall out of the NUC FCS Top 25.

Moving into the Top 25 for the second time this year is Eastern Illinois at #24. The Panthers were one of three FCS teams to knock off an FBS opponent this week by beating Miami of Ohio 21-17.

Illinois State knocked off Big Ten opponent Northwestern 9-7 and North Carolina A&T used 4OT’s to take down Kent State 39-36.

There are two really good matchups this week that will surely shake up the Top 25. Northern Iowa #7, fresh off their home loss to Montana, visits Eastern Washington #8. Eastern Illinois #24 takes on their second MVFC school of the year visiting Illinois State #5. Also of note Ivy League play begins this week.

What Top 25 FCS schools have a shot at knocking off FBS opponents on the road? North Dakota State #1(2-0) visits Iowa (2-0), James Madison #9 (2-0) heads south to battle North Carolina (1-1) and North Carolina A&T #21 (2-0) heads west to take on Tulsa (1-1)

1.     North Dakota State (ND) Bison

Last Week: Easton Stick accounted for 317 yards and three scores while senior linebacker Nick DeLuca has a pick six in the Bison 50-44 OT win over Eastern Washington.

Last Week: The Gamecocks gave up 244 yards on the ground in their 34-13 loss to LSU.

4.     Richmond (VA) Spiders

Last Week: David Jones had a 68-yard punt return for score and the Spider defense held Norfolk State to 122 total yards in their 34-0 win.

Last Week: The Redbirds held Northwestern to just 86 yards rushing on 31 carries in their huge 9-7 win.
