2016 US Open Goes Polish "Party at the NET"
New York, NY, August 25, 2016 (Newswire.com) - For the past seven years, on the eve of the US Open, SG Doyen organized players’ party for the top tennis stars from Poland and of Polish descent. This year, once again on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 7:30 pm, at the beautiful INGLOT Cosmetics Studio, SG DOYEN and RS TENNIS FOUNDATION will be hosting the “Party at the Net” for some of this year's US OPEN top tennis players.
The organizers expect to entertain over 10 players representing not only Poland, but also countries which their Polish parents had migrated to, including the 2016 Australian Open Champion and 2016 Wimbledon finalist and 2016 Olympics silver medalist, current WTA’s number 2 - Angelique Kerber of Germany. 2012 Wimbledon ladies finalist and the 2013 Wimbledon ladies semi-finalist and current WTA’s number 5 - Agnieszka Radwańska of Poland, former world number 1. Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark, the 2013 Wimbledon gentlemen semi-finalist Jerzy Janowicz of Poland, 2014 Australian Open Doubles Champion - Łukasz Kubot of Poland. 2012 Roland Garros mixt doubles finalist - Klaudia Jans-Ignacik of Poland. 2011 and 2013 Wimbledon ladies finalist Sabine Lisicki of Germany, as well as, 2011 US Open doubles runners up Mariusz Frystenberg and Marcin Matkowski of Poland.
Besides, the long guest list includes such players as, Urszula Radwańska of Poland, Aleksandra Wozniak & Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada, Alicja Rosolska, Magda Linette and Paula Kania of Poland, Dominic Inglot of the Great Britain, Tim Smyczek and Martin and Michael Redlicki of the USA to name just a few. Other special guests include the two-time Australian Open champion - Johan Kriek.
The party will feature exquisite cuisine and amazing desserts (curtesy of Charlotte Patisseries) to the mixt tunes of DJ “Ziggy.”
