Kyiv, Ukraine, September 8, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Melodic, positive pop music with modern EDM groves—that’s 22@V’s newest release, 220 Volts. When two unique talents decide to work together, it's always interesting to see how things will pan out. In the case of 22@V, made up of Alesya Rudyashkina and Vadim Brichikov, the result is an EP everyone will want to hear. The songs were recorded at the legendary Big Wall Studios (Miami, FL), well-known for producing hits from such major artists as Jennifer Lopez, Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliot, and Ricky Martin, to name a few.
22@V: “220 volts (and 22@V) is a positive charge of energy. We are trying to convey this through our performances. When we finally decided to record our own songs, we wanted to make sure they were really catchy and positive. We’re delighted with this EP, and want people to be inspired when they hear it!”
The EP consists of two songs, “220 Volts” and “Paint the Town,” written with the help of talented lyricist, Adele Powers. Both songs are positive and energetic, reflecting the duo’s bold decision to incorporate the essence of melodic pop music with modern, electronic dance music.
Their distinctive sound, of male and female voices blended together with such pure energy, is reminiscent of the beloved group ABBA. 22@V may be the modern-day equivalent of that iconic band!
