46807 Quality of Life Plan Roll Out Party to Take Place on February 19th

Online, February 11, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The 46807 Quality of Life Initiative Steering Committee will be hosting a roll out party at Redeemer Lutheran Church, located at 202 West Rudisill Blvd. in Fort Wayne.

Residents of the 46807 neighborhood will have a multimedia presentation to communicate last year's accomplishments, and will also discuss next steps in carrying out the Quality of Life plan for the neighborhood.

The party will serve as a catalyst for current and future projects by giving residents opportunity to connect and coalesce around common goals. Groups with existing projects are encouraged to share their current progress and process with those in attendance as well as work to collectively achieve progress and change for the 46807 zip code. All who 'Live, Love, Create, and Belong' to the '07 are invited, along with city officials, area representatives and stakeholders, to celebrate the initiative's accomplishments of 2011 and learn of plans for the coming year and beyond.

"This is an exciting time for the residents of 46807 as we are sharing exciting accomplishments for 2011 and rolling out our plans for this year," stated Pat Turner, Community Engagement Coordinator for the 46807 Quality of Life Initiative Steering Committee. We have a positive focus towards a better future and plans with action steps aimed at getting results," concluded Turner.

Local officials, Indiana Association for Community and Economic Development Executive Director Andy Frazier, and Pathfinder Services President John Niederman will be on hand for the event.
