$6.15M Settlement Before Trial for Kramer Trial Lawyers
Trial lawyers settle personal liability case before it reaches court in Los Angeles.
LOS ANGELES, January 11, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Kramer Trial Lawyers A.P.C. (KTL) is pleased to announce that attorneys Daniel K. Kramer and Teresa A. Johnson of KTL and Michael Burgis of Michael Burgis and Associates P.C. have reached a $6.15 million settlement before trial for their client who was seriously injured in an accident involving an 80,000-pound tanker.
Adan Flores received multiple fractures throughout his body and a traumatic brain injury when a tanker pulled out in front of him in January 2019, leaving him in a coma for nearly a month. Liability and damages were hotly contested by the defendants. After 20 depositions, multiple motions, several rounds of written discovery, and the designation of over 40 expert witnesses, the case settled for $6,150,000 on Dec. 6, 2021, just over 30 days before trial.
"This was a wonderful result for Mr. Flores, who we have been working with for over two and a half years," says Kramer Trial Lawyers founder Daniel Kramer. "To receive such a large settlement before trial for our client is something we are very proud of. We know how much of a difference this will make to Mr. Flores' recovery."
Daniel K. Kramer and Teresa A. Johnson are available for interviews.
