Introducing your teams to a multi-cultural cocktail of percussion, costume and dance. Different teams learn various world drum and dance styles, as well as the 'Global Groove' common to all teams. Then playing in unison they will seamlessly rotate as teams onto the stage to perform their individual set. Rock Idol is suitable as evening entertainment with each individual team responsible for a single soundtrack that will be included on the final company cd. During the event, teams will visit various "recording studios" to perform a particular segment of their song and once perfection is reached, it will be recorded. Rock Idol is an ideal challenge where teams work separately, calling upon their individual team resources and skills, yet still working toward a common goal.

Teams are challenged to produce their own colourful and vibrant street carnival in just 90 minutes! Working in groups, participants will explore the sounds which can be made from instruments such as trash cans, drain pipes and yard brushes, and the visual effects which can be created from a host of 'urban uniform' items. The resulting dynamic and uplifting performances will clearly show how different groups interpret, express, and achieve success in different ways.
