Online, May 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Key Lime Interactive (KLI), a leader in experience testing, recently performed a competitive review of the leading U.S. Auto Insurance companies and their mobile properties to discover the current state of the auto insurance mobile landscape. They'll reveal their findings in an open invitation webinar at 2pm EST on Thursday, May 19th.
KLI has a history of conducting syndicated research and has shared the results for similar studies in various unrelated industries including Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Hospitality and Mobile Shopping/eCommerce.
The study compares the Top 4 U.S. Auto Insurance companies' (State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, and Progressive) mobile apps and mobile sites to understand their gain insight about which capabilities and features have the most positive impact on their audience.
Each mobile property (mobile site, iPhone App, Android App) was compared against a list of standard auto insurance tasks to assess their capabilities and features. Although multiple mobile apps exist for each company, KLI focused only on comparing the primary auto insurance mobile apps.
• Allstate® Mobile
• GEICO GloveBox
• Progressive
• State Farm Pocket Agent™
KLI uncovered which tasks users are able to accomplish using these mobile apps and how each company may differ in its offerings to customers.
The heuristic review was conducted by KLI researchers Rebeca Lergier and Eugenio Santiago.
