A Decade of Delivering Quality Candidates
Online, October 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - CV-Library celebrated 10 years of successfully supplying high calibre job seekers to recruiters and employers. It all started in 2000 when 2 budding entrepreneurs had a vision of creating a database that would allow candidates to have their CV searched by 1000s of recruiters. Many said the Millennium Bug would see the end of the e-commerce success; it certainly wasn't¬¬¬ the case for CV-Library as they went from strength-to-strength and even pulled through the rocky downturn of the recession.
Today CV-Library has become the UK's largest independent job board, supported by a strong team of 29 employees that is progressively growing. The website continues to advance with over 1.6 million unique users and 5.4 million job searches per month. CV-Library aims to continue expansion and carry out further acquisitions for its long-term traffic driving strategy.
Managing Director, Lee Biggins:
"It was during the e-commerce boom I identified a niche in the market, since then we have maintained a fresh, focused and independent approach, minimising the risk of diluting our product and service. A decade of challenging yet exciting events has led to the accomplishment of CV-Library and I am extremely proud of where we are today."
