A European Tour a la Sex and the City

You think you can only get a life like in the TV series "Sex and the City" in New York? No way! You can find glitz and glamour in many European cities. HolidayCheck has four examples of hip places to go, which can certainly compete in terms of shoppi

Barcelona
If you want to stay stylish in this buzzing Catalan city, you have to go to the Hotel H10 Montcada. On the modernly designed roof, shopaholics can relax with a glass of champagne in the hotel's outdoor pool whilst enjoying the view of Barcelona. Former holidaymakers agree 100% that the four-star accommodation is the perfect starting point for the five kilometres long shopping street. When night falls, wild party-goers are all in the Razzmatazz Night Club. The club is home to five different venues in one. It is also a concert hall, where internationally renowned musicians and bands come to play.

Dublin
The Irish capital has long been a trendy European city and has more to offer than just black beer and whisky. Dublin has produced some great writers, whose works you can see at the Dublin Writers' Museum. To relax those high heel strained feet, rest and have a meal underneath the museum in Chapter One. This modern kitchen has already been presented with numerous awards, in 2007, even with a Michelin star. Equally classy is Grafton Street - the trendy shopping street in the heart of Dublin. Holiday makers recommend the former Temple Bar District in Dublin's centre, as somewhere where you can party the night away. It is filled with pubs and clubs.

Stockholm
The Scandinavian city on the east coast of Sweden has long been considered one of the hottest European hot spots. Fashion in Stockholm is not for the faint-hearted. Visitors can go to the district "SoFo" (South of Folkungatan) for the latest Swedish designs, and then the new clothes can be shown off in the evening in the Spy Bar. This bar is one of the most visited in the city - caution! Celebrity alert! To recuperate after a wild night, we recommend the Best Western Time Hotel. This four-star establishment is one which 94% of all guests in the past class as an ideal place to go on holiday. For dinner there's always Mosebacke, one of the tourist and cultural hotspots of Stockholm, right in the district of Södermalm. Besides concerts and cabaret performances, the in house restaurant offers very good food. In summer there is the amazing rooftop view over the city for free.

Berlin
The best starting point for a trip is in the central district of Charlottenburg, in Hotel Otto. The absolute highlight of the four-star hotel is the view from the breakfast room each morning over the city. It has been recommended by 100% of guests. Nearby, situated on the famous Kurfurstendamm, there is the Story of Berlin, a museum with a difference and an absolute must. Fashion is a way of life in Berlin, and it has plenty of designer stores to small boutiques spread all over the city. Before the Berlin crowd rushes out into the night life, strengthen up in Kurfurstendamm 101, where the lounge bar offers healthy and trendy snacks. The club 1a Lauschgift offers the perfect start for a hot club tour through Berlin. This cocktail bar is in the style of the 70's, even with leather sofas, colourful wallpaper and retro decor.
