A Famous Podcast Journalist Investigates a Tennessee-Fried Murder in the Noir Detective Mystery 'Truth in Madison'

Truth in Madison - Book Cover

Actor and screenwriter Jarrod Robbins is bringing the noir-style detective mystery back into the spotlight with his first published novel: Truth in Madison. A journey into the writing styles of much-beloved authors such as Dennis Lehane, Elmore Leonard, and Michael Connelly, Truth in Madison is a modern kaleidoscope of intricately painted characters, raw emotion and hauntingly vulnerable vignettes.

SYNOPSIS:

As one of the country's most respected podcast journalists, David Lambert didn't have time to drive 300 miles south to the town of Madison, Tennessee, but an email from an anonymous source was about to pull him into a fight for his life. Alone and far from home, David must navigate between good and evil to hunt down a brutal killer in hopes of finding the one thing that matters to him most: the truth.

“I approach writing the same way I approach acting -- when creating something that doesn’t exist, be as truthful as possible,” says Jarrod Robbins. “TRUTH IN MADISON is a completely fictional story that is meant to feel as real and raw as all my favorite true crime podcasts."
