Born the daughter of Zeus, Athena springs out of her father’s head, clad as a warrior and brandishing her weapons with skill. Smart, gutsy and inventive, she is a rebel in an age that demands that females be gentle and submissive. Undaunted, Athena fights to assert her independence, but her autonomy comes at an unexpected price. The book chronicles how she rises to the challenge, leveraging her wits and talents to become one of the most influencial goddesses of the ancient world.
“My Life as Athena” takes a darker turn when the powerful Roman legions arrive, greedy for Greek wealth, and offering a diabolical bargain to adopt the Greek gods as their own. Athena and her fellow gods have to decide whether to stand by the Greeks or betray them to safeguard their own interests. The secret story of how Athena outmaneuvers her father and changed history, fills the pages between the covers of this innovative novel.
