A Modern Lifestyle Offers Insights and Tips About Health

A Modern Lifestyle is a deals and information hub for health enthusiasts

A new site has launched, helping health and fitness enthusiasts stay on top of the latest information and news, as well as find the best deals on essential products.

A Modern Lifestyle, founded by Timothy Spruill, is geared toward anyone trying to make a positive change in their health, from finding a healthier lifestyle, eating a better diet or enhancing a fitness routine.

"We want to provide top quality information for our guests; when they come to our site with a question or a product in mind, we want to give them the best advice we can."

Timothy Spruill, President

“Staying in shape is as much about someone’s mentality as their physical prowess,” Spruill said. “We want to provide today’s health nut with the most up-to-date information, and we want to offer real, practical solutions to their problems. That could mean access to best deals on products to make them healthier or advice about exercise or diet.”

One post on the site offers advice on easy-to-prepare meals that can be frozen and then re-heated. Options range from breakfast sandwiches to crockpot lasagna and cheesy broccoli soup. Preparing meals in advance and then freezing them allows for options and can provide a healthy option when someone is short on time, the article said.

Another post looks at the benefits of strength training versus cardiovascular exercise, and offers advice about which to start with.

“There is no workout that is perfect for everyone,” the post said. “Whether cardio or strength training is likely to be better suited to you depends on your personal goals in terms of fitness and strength.”

There are general guidelines to follow, however. For someone trying to lost weight, it’s best to do strength training and then cardio, because that will likely burn more fat. Another tip is to choose a least-favorite type of exercise and get that out of the way early in the workout. Other options, such as P90X, which combine both strength training and cardio, might be a good balance, as well.

Spruill said more posts like those are being planned.
