Don't Miss a Moving Collection of Children's Art in 3D at Takohl Gallery in Chicago's West Loop
An unprecedented exhibit from blossoming young artists on display through February 2018
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, November 3, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Takohl Gallery, located at 110 North Peoria Street in Chicago’s West Loop, proudly presents wildly imaginative artwork created by children ages 2 to 12 through February 28, 2018. Takohl Gallery’s “Young Artists in Motion” art exhibit explores the uninhibited wonder and magic of childhood through the lens of super-sized holographic-like original drawings and paintings. Featured artists include: Eero Sebastian Hilton (age two and a half) from Chicago, Grace Kepes (age 12) from Chicago, Emmett Kyoshi (age 12) from Chicago and sisters Nika Wegner (age eight) and Veda Wegner (age 10) from Milwaukee, Wisc.

Kohl knew by age four her destiny was in art. That’s why she decided to team up with artist and photographer Susan Aurinko to curate this first-of-its-kind art exhibit featuring child artists. Moreover, Kohl and Aurinko are committed to mentoring the featured artists, sharing their love for art to inspire and support others’ artistic pursuits.
A pioneer in Chicago’s burgeoning West Loop, Kohl opened Takohl Gallery in 1987. Since then, she has been showcasing the work of others as well as her own award-winning precious gem creations in silver, gold and platinum to discerning clients in Chicago around the globe.
