A New Style of Martial Art Debuts in Venice, FL
Venice, June 8, 2015 (Newswire.com) - “Tai Zhang Dao” is Chinese and pronounced tie-jung-dow that translates to “The Extreme Cane.”
The aggressive style incorporates effective methods and successful techniques from a number of various disciplines such as Tai Chi, Hapkido, Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga, and Kung Fu. It was developed initially to fill a need lacking in present disciplines that addresses the ability of novices and especially for older students to rapidly learn how to effectively protect themselves without years of study and practice.
It goes on the concept that there are "no rules" in street altercations and focuses the training accordingly. It takes into account that most people don’t want to waste a lot of time learning to protect themselves with complicated forms of defense techniques but want to get down to the “nitty-gritty” hardcore attack forms to immediately dispatch an opponent confronting them. It is based on the creator’s rule that “You don’t have to be fast…you only need to be first.”
"No battles are ever won fighting a defensive action. While most other styles teach passive self-defense methods of waiting until an opponent makes a move before you do anything, this new style goes much farther in aggressively going after the opponent in a way that is difficult to defend against thus making it a far superior style,” said Buck Buckmaster of Revolutionary Martial Arts.
It is well known that older people do not have speed, strength, endurance, or agility of younger people whom they might encounter and as a result, the program is designed such that opponents are dealt with rapidly and effectively utilizing a “K.I.S.S.” [Keep It Simple Stupid] system developed by the creator. This applies whether the individual is dealing with one or multiple opponents.
Training for the style utilizes simple, natural movements that are easy to learn and remember. It has a short learning curve and is unlike the formal training required in normal martial arts which can take years to master. It does not require a lot of time to learn. Like any other endeavor, mastery takes a bit longer and depends on how much the individual practices it. It is suitable for most men, women and responsible young adults. Students taking this course become members of “The Windmill Warriors.”
“Buck” Buckmaster, who holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt, is the owner of Revolutionary Martial Arts & Fitness, Inc. located at 2141 South Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL, is the first trained licensee in the U.S. to be designated as the “home” of the style. He will be training students and certifying other licensee instructors in the style starting immediately.
He welcomes anyone of good moral character to learn this helpful art. They can call 941-525-3389 today for an interview to see if they qualify for training and to become one of “The Windmill Warriors.”
