A New Vertical Job Search Engine Enters the UK Recruitment Market

With an already competitive recruitment search market in the UK, a new job search engine has just officially launched. Jobuzu.co.uk founded by Ricky Gill who has bold ambitions for his creation and one of his first task is to become a household name.

One of the unique features Jobuzu has to offer which Ricky thinks will set the site apart from the likes of Simply Hired, Indeed and Jobrapdio is there unique algorithm which they have codenamed "Smart Ranking" it boasts over 200 hundred different ranking signals that helps the system list the best "relevant" jobs first helping reduce search time and allowing job seekers to concentrate on writing up there application forms and practising there interview skills.

The company was founded by Ricky in 2010 but has only just launched and Ricky has put this down to their heavy investment in developing the right product "I was only going to launch a service I was going to be happy with and I am not an easy person to please but spending the year developing the product has helped us bring to market from the onset a solution that could easily bring us into the top 3 job search engines in the world for job seeker experience. What matters at Jobuzu is to become the largest (get all the jobs), quickest and most relevant without the duplicates and I believe our product already achieves this now even though its officially in BETA. We have plans for further new features to be rolled out in the coming months which includes email sign up for jobs, share jobs via social media and many more nifty little features that will help with the overall job seeker experience."

Jobuzu is completely bootstrapped and has no outside support (for now anyway) we believe our business model is very good and will allow the business to grow while we invest our time in making the job seeker experience even better, though Ricky admits running a bootstrapped business does have some problems one of them being limited on PR and Marketing resources, "Our infrastructure we feel is pretty much spot on, we have an advanced vertical job search engine that can expand rapidly with ease with very little overhead costs, our major expenditure was the initial investment in hardware, configuration and development but being a systems engineer by trade I was able to work on most of the infrastructure in house which was a major plus. But what we lack the investment in is PR & Marketing but hopefully in the coming months that will be sorted, so watch this space".

With a team of 5 Jobuzu is hoping to recruit a new PR and Marketing partner to assist with getting the brand into mainstream media in the coming months. So if you're interested in applying or would like to become a business partner or just search for your next job visit us now.

Where are Jobuzu based?
