A New Way to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is a "green" event. Why not celebrate it in a new way to make it more green?

Tomorrow, green will be the dominating color and St. Patrick will be the most recognized saint. And though St. Patrick's Day is already a fun feast as it is, there are some who want to celebrate it more than just the usual merriment.

Although an Irish feast, St. Patrick's Day is internationally celebrated by both Irish and non-Irish alike. And as one of the busiest holidays of the year, it is often celebrated with parades, food and alcohol along with the wearing of green clothing and apparels.

Steering away from the tradition however, some celebrate the said feast by going green. That is, they mark the day by taking steps that could protect the environment.
