A Review of Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles: 2013's Premiere Dealership
Online, January 4, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles: 2013's Premiere Dealership
Volkswagen, the name itself conjures images of a nostalgic past, a modern, stylistic present and a future of innovation. Volkswagen itself has, despite it's foreign roots become an integral aspect of contemporary and historical American culture. Volkswagen, unlike many of our times popular brands has undoubtedly stayed true to their roots in regards to both their unique style as well as their mechanical consistency.
Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles is a testament to the tradition, craftsmanship and loyal service that Volkswagen has provided for the greater part of the 20th and 21st century. The sales presence of both Don Dolor and Christopher Tiusiu has made Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles one of LA's premier dealerships. More often than not, Dealerships can appear mechanical, utilitarian and relatively cold, yet after having visited Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles, I can attest to its positive, welcoming environment.
The show room, which featured the 2013 Jetta, the 2013 Passat and of course the 2013 Tiguan S had an open, warm feeling. I was guided and given a detailed and relevant explanation of all of the models, making it a pleasant experience. Essentially, the general pressure and clutter of your average dealership was non-existent, which, in all honesty is almost impossible to find in a large city like Los Angeles.
After having been shown the various models I felt I had a truly comprehensive understanding of the various vehicles. I began to think, what really sets apart the Volkswagen from its competitors. Firstly, at least for myself was the overwhelming feeling of Nostalgia; I felt as if, despite its foreign roots, I was experiencing an American classic. Perhaps it was because I had heard from family members who had driven Beetles in their young adult lives in the 60's and 70's.
Secondly, each of these vehicles including the 2013 Jetta, Passat and Tiguan S seemed to have their own unique style, which exemplified the positive qualities of their vehicular class. Each of the three cars had a crisp clean feeling to them, which exhibited efficiency and comfort, a signature of German engineering. The interior controls were easily accessible and extremely user friendly, while allows one to focus upon how remarkably comfortable the seating is; perhaps this is due to how spacious these models are or some other reason, maybe that is their secret to success.
Lastly, aside from the aesthetic pleasures and intricacies one cannot deny the astounding MPG these vehicles get. Generally, when you hear that a vehicle gets over thirty miles per gallon, that serves as a relative benchmark for efficiency; regardless, Volkswagen has upped the ante. Volkswagen's Jetta Hybrid has achieved an estimated 48-MPG highway and 42 MPG freeway with an average of 45 MPG. One could speculate this as a standalone model in regards to its fuel efficiency; yet, this is actually one of seven Volkswagen models that exceed forty MPG.
Simply put, if you are seeking fuel efficiency, then Volkswagen will not let you down. Volkswagen of Los Angeles provided me with not only a friendly shopping experience, but I also left with a comprehensive understanding of Volkswagen's outstanding models. If you are looking for a stylish, fuel efficient, cost effective start to 2013, Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles should be your first stop.
