A Touch Of Death In Australia

It's Here! The highly anticipated 'A Touch of Death' E.P will be launched on the 7th of Jan 2011. Joining The Reapers on this explosive event will be newcomers 'Gates of Perdition' and Perth favs 'Ill Vision' and 'Malignant Monst

After the Release of there demo (Selftitled 2009) The Reapers embarked on a mission to release a Higher Quality E.P that really captured there full sound and presence. Reapers Riddles demo release was recorded at a cheaper studio and it showed, but it was good for getting the music out there. Reapers Riddle are still a relatively underground Perth band but 2011 promises to be 'Year of the Reaper' with many plans set forth starting with the release of 'A Touch of Death'

Reapers Riddle formed early 2008, deriving from all corners of Perth City to form an allegiance to all forms of Metal. All influenced by different eras and styles, Reapers Riddle joined forces to create a sound that will merge every aspect of the Metal Genre.

Spending there first 2 months together in the rehearsal studios refining there sound till they were set to Unleash their devastation in April 2008 to break a venue record and leaving the bar sold out of alcohol. They have continued to
leave their trail of destruction across Perth and Fremantle Venues since. From opening shows for Blackened (ex Allegiance Members) to fronting an annual Youth festival with The Getaway Plan, The Reapers have not stopped, and wont!

Since their beginning Reapers have been labelled as one of the Hottest Stage shows in Perth with their Fierce Stage Presence and Full on Sound. Pouring blood and sweat into every lick and chord they have collaborated to forge a unique array of tracks, to get the crowd thrashing and blowing throats singing along.

In May 2009 they launched their Debut Demo (Self titled L.P) at the Rocket Room packing the house and gaining attention from several press executives and distribution companies. On May 30th the Demo was released Australia wide through Firestarter Distribution (Adam Weston - Birds of Tokyo) but due to quality conflicts from the band, the cd was not pushed forward but available to all fans through iTunes and Australian Stores. This caused the Reapers to strive for a more quality product, one that captured their sound and gave the audience an experience more true to their potential. This lead the guys to Rob Agostini of 'Soundbaker'.

In late 2009 Reapers Riddle began production of their follow up E.P 'A Touch of Death' but were halted when they lost guitarist Dan. The search began to find the new Rhythm guitarist to take Dans Place (seemed impossible), but after auditioning for 3 months Scott Allison was chosen with his high energy, solid playing and ability to gel with the guys. This set the wheels in motion, what had been a slow end to 2009 was an epic kick-start to 2010. Touring, recording, writing and just straight getting f#@ked up they rocked harder than ever and have finally got back to the point of origin.

2011 will be started with the highly anticipated release of 'A Touch of Death' when Reapers Riddle cut up the stage with Ill Vision, Gates of Perdition and special Guests @ Perth's best original venue at the Amplifier Bar. So keep your eyes peeled and your ears ready cause on January 7th 2011 Reapers Riddle are going to melt the face of Australian Metal.
