A Vision of Unity within Diversity by Loving One Another

We invite all religious and non-religious beliefs to meet and share our experiences so that we may find our commonalities and become more effective in Helping Others. Attendees are expected to check their prejudices at the door and have an open mind.

A rapidly growing movement has emerged with the audacity to think they can change the world, forming a grass roots effort designed to unite all beliefs by Helping and Accepting Others.

What is Holistic Religion?

Holistic religion is not an institution or a doctrine, but a way of life. While some religions function as sects, holistic religion is about wholeness, togetherness, and tolerance. Just as the mind, body, and spirit experience a symbiotic relationship, we believe that people - all people -can function harmoniously with one another as well.

The vision of unity that characterizes holistic religion is the foundation of our community. We believe that people coming from all types of religions, backgrounds, and beliefs can help each other by embracing one another's diversity, and by sharing wisdom that has emerged from personal experiences. For this reason, holistic religion thrives on the precept of being all-inclusive, never exclusive.

By judging or ostracizing others, we are disrupting the flow of spiritual energy that flows through us all, and also through everything around us. However, by embracing other people's different cultures, ideas, beliefs, and experiences, we are creating a continuous flow of positive energy in this often far-too-negative world.

When we help others, we are also helping ourselves. We are all individuals, but we are also part of a larger whole. Everything in the universe is interconnected, and it is through this understanding that peace and happiness can be truly attained.

Holistic religion is about cleansing the mind, body, and spirit through self-exploration and inner contemplation. Yet at the same time, we count on others to share the wisdom of their own discoveries so that we can learn life lessons from our fellow human beings, as well as from ourselves. It is ultimately this type of altruistic exchange of knowledge and truth that generates the spiritually-awakened state of being to which we all aspire.

"I believe all of us can find something in common with each other and build on that"
John Condon, founder Holistic Religion

Holistic Religion: We are All One, believing in Love, tolerance and Helping Others.

Our Intent:

We respect all beliefs and see diversity as a gift from the source in which we all emanated from.

We have no leaders. We are not allied with any sect, denomination, politic, or institution.

We embrace our commonalities and tolerate our differences with Love for One Another.

We practice Love, tolerance, forgiveness, compassion, and manners.

We try never to intentionally hurt anyone.

We Help One Another.

We Love.

Universal Suggestions

TOLERANCE- First and foremost, tolerance is a critical for goodness to be fostered. As long as someone isn't hurting you or others, its nobody's bunation, by religion, by ethnicity, by sex, by vocation or education, serves only to reinforce the incorrect belief that people who share our classification are better than those who do not. Its all well and good to take pride in who you are, and what you believe, but indulging the fallacy that you are somehow better or lesser than others who are different from you is counter evolutionary. It wont get us there. It will hold us back.

EQUALITY - The way we have separated ourselves, by nation, by religion, by ethnicity, by sex, by vocation or education, serves only to reinforce the incorrect belief that people who share our classification are better than those who do not. Its all well and good to take pride in who you are, and what you believe, but indulging the fallacy that you are somehow better or lesser than others who are different from you is counter evolutionary. It wont get us there. It will hold us back.

PEACE- This applies to those in power who can wage war or peace, and to us individually in our lives. If we all tried to live peacefully among ourselves, tolerant and Respectful of others, we wouldn't be so reliant on laws and law enforcement to guarantee security.

HONESTY, INTEGRITY, TRUTHFULNESS, FAIRNESS, HELPFULNESS, etc. Are all adjuncts of doing the right thing.

MORALITY - is not about restrictions on personal choice, LIBERTY AND FREEDOMS. It is about doing the right thing. Being decent to others. Respecting the liberty and freedoms of the human being is essential.

CHARITY- There isn't a person on this planet who cant afford to share their blessings with others. Its not about giving $100 to this charity or that charity, although that is a good thing to be sure, but foundationaly, it is about being GENEROUS in all that you do. KINDNESS is a form of charity. Giving to others something they need, is charity. Sometimes just a kind word is charitable. It is not something you do once year. Charity is an attitude that should be with you 24/7, to foster kind and giving actions whenever you are aware of the need, and your ability to make a positive offering. Kindness is not just charity. It is the simple act of being nice.

BEING APPRECIATIVE. EMPATHETIC-Appreciation and gratitude are good for the soul. It may also be the kind of positive energy that helps to foster goodness across the planet. It certainly can't hurt to express thanks to God or the Universe or whatever for the goodness of this life. It may be the right thing to do. Expressing appreciation and gratitude to those who share our lives is also important. We live in a world of services. Everyone performs some kind of service for which they are compensated. We all need each other. Some services have become more highly valued (and compensated) than others, but we need them all, don't we? Where would we be if we had to do it all ourselves? If God did another "do over" like in the Noah story, and you were one of five left alive on earth, how long would it take you to create the systems that make life easier? We are very fortunate to have each other working together to improve our lives. Say Thank you to the people who are a part of your life. Be appreciative of what others do for you. Be tolerant, if they aren't as good at doing their jobs as you wish they were.

HUMILITY -Until we are as good as we can be, all of us, we have room for improvement. PRIDE however is not the opposite of humility. Pride is not a negative. We should take pride in our accomplishments, and our efforts, but we should humbly be appreciative of our ability to achieve, and of the circumstances that combined to support our successes.

COMPASSION- Feel for others in pain even if you cannot understand it. Even if you think they are not entitled to feel that pain. It is what it is. Have sympathy. Everybody hurts sometime. Have COMPASSION.

FORGIVENESS- Nobody's perfect. Everybody messes up. You certainly get to choose if you want to risk similar mistakes from the same person, whether it is work or personal, but if you do or you don't, forgive the transgressor. Then move on, with or without that person, but don't hold on to anger or resentment or hard feelings. That is negative energy that does nothing to improve you or the universe.

DILIGENCE - Do the best that you can in everything you do.

HELPING OTHERS - When we help others, we are also helping ourselves. We are all individuals, but we are also part of a larger whole. Everything in the universe is interconnected, and it is through this understanding that peace and happiness can be truly attained.siness if they do things differently from you. We need to stop trying to impose our will on others.
