AACE Hosts 26th Annual Conference in Florida

Kissimmee, Florida, December 15, 2015 (Newswire.com) - ​​More than 200 code enforcement professionals from across the country converged on the Sunshine State for four days of continuing education at the 26th annual American Association of Code Enforcement (AACE) conference in October.

New to this year’s conference, AACE awarded the first public-private partnership award to Safeguard Properties, the largest mortgage field services company in the U.S., for its collaboration and contributions.

This award recognized Safeguard for its many years of providing education, including session presentations. Safeguard also created a first-of-its-kind training webinar about the mortgage servicing industry. Additionally, Safeguard assisted AACE with efforts to increase awareness by producing marketing materials and including leadership at state and national conferences.

For the fifth year, Safeguard offered eight scholarships to attend the AACE conference. Sherri Johnston, ambassador-at-large, said, “Decreasing municipal budgets impact the feasibility of code officials being able to participate. The scholarship program has opened the doors to continue education and develop the skill sets needed to serve their communities.” This year’s recipients included:
