AB Controls, Inc. Welcomes Michael Peerenboom as Vice President of Business Development
Online, October 13, 2010 (Newswire.com) - AB Controls, Inc., one of the nation's leading laboratory automation, robotics, system integrators, and contract manufacturers, announced today that it has hired Michael Peerenboom as the Vice President of Business Development.
Mr. Peerenboom has over 25 years of experience in the drug development and automation industries. Mr. Peerenboom will participate in proposal preparation to assure proposals address customer's specific requirements and implement marketing strategies that reflect AB Controls, Inc.'s capabilities based on his industry experience.
Located in the biotech and pharmaceutical hub of Southern California, Mr. Peerenboom looks to have an immediate impact working closely with CEO Mike Nariman and Director of Marketing Michael Keating. "Mr. Peerenboom's extensive experience with drug development, integration, and automation, paired with his understanding of biotech and pharmaceuticals markets make him a key player for us moving forward," said Keating.
Mr. Peerenboom has designed, sold and managed the building of laboratories for the Department of Food and Agriculture, The California State College System, and NASA Space Life Sciences Laboratories. In addition, he headed U.S. sales with German start-up Cybio Inc. where he set up infrastructure on the East and West coasts, hired and trained all sales personnel, and penetrated the North and South American High-Throughput Screening markets.
Mr. Peerenboom earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cal State Long Beach.
