AbilityPLUS Adaptive Sports Benefit Golf Tournament in Stow, MA

AbilityPLUS, Inc.,the Northeast's leading provider of adaptive sports for people with disabilities holding golf tourney fund-raiser June 14 at Wedgewood Pines in Stow, MA

Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow, one of New England's premier private golf clubs, will host the annual AbilityPLUS benefit golf tournament Tuesday June 14. There remains limited space availability for players and sponsors. AbilityPLUS is a New England based nonprofit organization providing sports and recreation programs for people with all manner of physical and/or developmental disabilities.

"This is one of our most fun and most important fundraisers of the year," said David A. Hauser, AbilityPLUS executive director. "AbilityPLUS supporters from across New England and New York join us to enjoy great golf, challenging special holes and fabulous food and camaraderie . . . all that and raising money to support the programs that mean so much to AbilityPLUS families and individuals!" AbilityPLUS programs include a partnership with The Wounded Warrior Project, as well as programs developed with regional schools serving people with autism.


Located 30 miles northwest of Boston, Wedgewood Pines is a par 71, 6,769-yard course that was developed in harmony with it surroundings on conservation and recreation land in Stow. The course features lush, mature bentgrass tees and fairways and state-of-the-art
G-2 Pentcross bentgrass greens. The eight-year-old 20,000 square foot clubhouse features a perfect blend of classic design and amenities.
