Abintra Announces Industry-Leading Environmental Platform for Occupancy Management Measurement and Utilization

Abintra is pleased to announce the introduction of its environmental sensor solution.

Abintra is pleased to announce the introduction of its environmental sensor solution. The company, based in London, UK, and Boston, US, launched the new product on its newly-revised web site at www.abintra-consulting.com.

Individual environmental sensors have long been available of course but the game changer for Abintra’s spatial utilization customers is the integration of environmental sensing within the network. This allows spatial management utilization data and key environmental metrics to be combined to deliver high levels of comfort while helping to reduce energy waste. For example, the data is collected in combination at the right time and the right place, so individual temperature at the workstation as well as general ambient temperature and humidity are adequately controlled.

We see this announcement as a boon, both to our current customers and to our prospective clients as well, serving as a reinforcement that we remain a leader in the occupancy management marketplace.

Tony Booty, Commercial Director at Abintra, commented: “We see this announcement as a boon, both to our current customers and to our prospective clients as well, serving as a reinforcement that we remain a leader in the occupancy management marketplace. As companies struggle to become “green” in a cost-effective manner and “green buildings” play an important role in the latest intelligent building strategy, our environmental platform will be a key way to support these company initiatives.”

Abintra’s customers and prospects are being asked more and more to look at all aspects of the workplace, including comfort and wellbeing, with a focus on retaining talent. Workplace utilization sensors can link to existing building automation or lighting while built-in environmental sensing can augment or control systems directly to achieve these new goals. Abintra customers have requested such a solution to help better manage and utilize their office environments. What was lacking for most was the ability to measure and monitor a building’s environmental demand in a way that would produce essential reporting in a reliable, real-time and accurate manner.

Abintra is a proven thought leader and provider in the field of space utilization measurement and management, specializing in providing real-time actionable information and consulting for large scale space management and energy saving projects.

Paul Hallam, Abintra’s chief product strategist, states: “With the introduction of our fully functional and virtually tested environmental solution, we have again added another first to our product line portfolio. The solution is now readily available to be implemented at customer locations.”

Formed in 2001, Abintra is one of the industry’s largest workplace and service consultants. Clients include property, estates and facilities, IT and finance departments.
