Accenture's Blue Tulip Awards Names Trust Stamp as a Top 25 Candidate for World-Changing Innovation in Finance and Security
AMSTERDAM, January 16, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Trust Stamp, a global provider of proprietary artificial intelligence-protected identity services, headquartered in Atlanta, has been awarded the Top 25 honor in the categories of Finance and Security for their Evergreen HashTM (EgHashTM) technology in the Blue Tulip Awards Class of 2020. The program was founded in partnership with Accenture and aims to accelerate innovations that address the most forefront global challenges of today.
This announcement follows the kickoff event in Amsterdam on Jan. 9, 2020, attended by Trust Stamp President Andrew Gowasack. The company looks forward to the quarterfinals competition on February 13, which will narrow the contestant pool for each of eight challenge-based categories down further to just 10 innovations.
"The Netherlands is consistently named in the world's most innovative countries, with a global impact that spans across several hard-hitting industries, and that was made evident from the first days of our participation in the Blue Tulip program," comments Gowasack. "We are thrilled not only to be included in the program but to have our technology recognized as game-changing by an incredibly experienced and impactful organization whose mission parallels our own."
Trust Stamp's EgHash technology moves to the next round in two of eight categories, Finance and Security. The first addresses technologies that offer radical new opportunities in finance. The second focuses on innovations that keep data secure while elevating the increasingly connected digital world.
A panel of jury members selected the top 25 innovators across each theme after analyzing over 600 innovations that comprise the current cohort. The jury, throughout all levels and categories of competition, includes relevant industry experts and previous award winners.
Trust Stamp's EgHash is a unique, irreversible hashed-tokenized output of identity data that has been transformed beyond possible recognition but still accurately proves identity without sharing or revealing sensitive information. Characterized by this inherent security, the innovation is notably valuable in the finance sector.
Successful implementations touch all corners of finance and security, from fraud identification at an S&P 500 Bank to the promotion of financial inclusion in developing areas of the world. The EgHash can be confidently used in any context necessary to prove identity and realize the financial impact of access to secure, universally recognized existence on both the individual and global levels.
About Trust Stamp:
Trust Stamp applies advanced cryptographic techniques and Artificial Intelligence-powered, presentation-attack detection tools to any identity data to create a proprietary non-PII Evergreen Hash™ (EgHash™). The EgHash provides a unique tokenized identity that cannot be reverse-engineered, constitutes “anonymized data”, and is immune to breaches. An EgHash can be compared to Trust Stamp’s Identity Lake, video-streams, photo-ID, and more to establish identity and can pivot to other data, enabling zero-knowledge-proofs. Trust Stamp technology is used in banking, FinTech, KYC/AML, real estate, travel/hospitality, and law enforcement.
