ACG South Florida Announces Awards Banquet Sponsors

The South Florida Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG-South Florida) will be honoring the recipients of its outstanding company awards at the 2017 annual awards banquet on June 15 at the Westin Fort Lauderdale starting at 5:30 p.m. ACG South Florida Awards began in 1992. The categories are Outstanding Growth Company of the Year, Emerging Growth Company of the Year and Deals of the Year.

The “Outstanding Growth Company of the Year Award” will be presented to Trivest Partners for its continued outstanding large company growth to over $1.2 billion annual revenues, 20% increase over the prior year. Trivest’s veteran management, led by Troy Templeton, also raised a new $225 million fund to make non-control investments in founder/family businesses.

The winner of the prestigious “Emerging Growth Company of the Year” award goes to TouchSuite for its continued exceptional growth to $37 million revenues from a starting position in 2004. Led by CEO and serial entrepreneur/visionary Sam Zietz, TouchSuite is a leader in point of sale and payment solutions for small businesses.

Stonegate Bank will receive the “Deal of the Year Award” for its acquisition of Regent Bancorp in September 2016. Stonegate is a full-service commercial bank, providing a wide range of business and consumer financial services, which is comprised primarily of Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Hillsborough, Lee, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Sarasota Counties.

Sun Capital Partners Inc. will receive a “Deal of the Year Award” for its outstanding turnaround and sale of Point Blank Enterprises. Sun Capital Partners is a global private investment firm which identifies companies’ untapped potential and leverages its deep operational and financial resources to transform results. Sun Capital worked with the Point Blank Enterprises management team to greatly improve operational and manufacturing processes, leading to faster production times and deliveries to clients.
