AchieveNEXT Releases 11th Annual CFO-CHRO Sentiment Study
PHILADELPHIA, January 14, 2021 (Newswire.com) - AchieveNEXT, a leading provider of Peer Advisory Networks and Solutions for emerging and mid-market leaders and their enterprises, has released its 2021 CFO-CHRO Sentiment Study to provide peer insights into strategic planning, financial outlook, and objectives for 2021 and beyond.
In December, AchieveNEXT surveyed a cross-section of U.S.-based emerging and mid-market CFOs and CHROs about their enterprises' current and projected financial outlook, with a particular focus on business strategy, people, technology and risk. More than 300 finance and HR leaders representing the 9,000+ members of the CFO Alliance and CHRO Alliance participated in the study.
While the survey results confirmed significant financial impact from COVID-19 in 2020, they also revealed a consistent and cautious optimism for business re-entry and revenue rebound. "A solid majority of these leaders are optimistic that effective and widely distributed vaccines will accelerate a return to a next, new normal at some point in 2021," said AchieveNEXT CEO, Nick Araco.
72% of leaders surveyed project an increase in annual revenues over 2020 performance and 62% are planning for an increase in EBITDA over 2020 performance. This represents a dramatic positive swing from AchieveNEXT's mid-year survey, conducted in August 2020.
"These survey results are consistent with what we are hearing from our client base," said Steve Arizpe, President and COO of Insperity, a leading provider of HR solutions and sponsor of the Sentiment Study.
CFOs and CHROs are increasingly focused on how to maximize time and budget, with an emphasis on enterprise agility and a laser-like understanding of employee and customer needs in a changing landscape.
"Finance and HR leaders will continue to focus on rebuilding revenue, on enhancing customer and employee strategies and scenario planning as they look to emerge stronger in 2021," said AchieveNEXT Chief Knowledge Officer Thomas A. Stewart. "They'll continue to make changes to products and services, pricing and delivery strategies and increasing customer segments to increase revenue, and they will apply the lessons learned during 2020 to help prepare their people and themselves for all that 2021 will bring."
