Two wine bottles of Chateau Clinet, vintage 1989 in a 750 ml bottle, were sold for $ 722 each.
In an exciting bidding fight the fine wine price rose until $ 722
per 750 ml bottle and achieved a world record for wine prices.
Since the last wine price on the 2016-02-20 at Hart Davis Hart Wine Auction which attained a fine wine price of $ 557, the momentary appreciation is +29,66 %.

The auction room was equipped with screens and lots of chairs for the bidders from all over the world.
The wine auction house Acker Wine Auction Hong Kong offered more then 662 extraordinary lots of wines excluding mixed lots, and the result was imposing.

The biggest part of the trade amount in this fine wine auction, got wines from wine growing area of Bordeaux, with 1677 wine bottles or converted 36,69 % from all trades in this auction.
Domaine de la Romanee Conti from Burgundy was the most wanted. 4,40 % or 201 bottles of the total amount, were sold from this winery and thus, it was set in first place in trading volume from wine lovers. The most popular single wine was the Salon Vintage Champagne. With a total of 4,40 % or 201 bottles, it has won the first place. The usually most sought vintage at this wine auction was the 2005 vintage with 418 wine bottles. With more than 9,14 % of the total, the vintage got the first rank.
The most expensive wine in this fine wine auction came from Burgundy.
Domaine de la Romanee Conti Montrachet vintage 2005 in a 6000 ml imperial got a new owner for $ 38.672 €.

1608 wine bottles from Burgundy were sold in the wine auction. In the ranking of most wanted wineries, the wines from Leroy rewarded the second place in popularity from the wine lovers with 183 auctioned bottles.
The second best singe wine reached the 2007 Beaucastel  Chateauneuf du Pape Hommage A Jacques Perrin in a 750 ml wine bottle. The result was fixed with more than 0,79 % of the complete range or converted 36 wine bottles.
Third place in the wine price ranking was Jayer Henri Richebourg, 1978, with a value of $ 12.375 for a single 750 ml wine bottle.
