Actavis Spain Implements Eluzzion CRM For Its Sales Force

Spanish generics leader, Actavis Spain SA, signs 3-year contract with Data3s for eluzzion CRM, an advanced customer relationship management software solution for pharmaceutical and life science organizations.

European pharmaceutical CRM leader Data3s announced today that the Actavis Group has chosen to implement eluzzion CRM to support its Spanish sales force. The Actavis Group's Spanish affiliate, Actavis Spain SA, was incorporated at the end of 2007, and started operations in July 2008. The Company is currently marketing generics retail products, branded, oncology hospital and over-the-counter (OTC) products in the Spanish market.

Describing the decision in favor of Data3s, Actavis' Director Sales Force Effectiveness Europe, Stefan Langthaler, said, "For me the system itself, as well as fancy power point slides, can never give a comparable impression to what you feel in a discussion when professionals from our generic business are sitting across from us. And this is the most important lesson for me from our meetings with Data3s."

"It made a big difference to us that Data3s was a company that originated inside pharma," Langthaler added. "They built the foundation for eluzzion CRM while they were still at Zentiva [now part of the Sanofi-aventis Group] and it very quickly became clear that their background gave them a deep understanding of the pharma business and the needs of generics companies like Actavis."

According to Cristian Burrows, Data3s' Sales Director, "Among the most important functions for Actavis Spain are eluzzion's built-in BI Tools, OLAP cubes and eluzzion's personalized analytic Home Page dashboards, as well as eluzzion's Transfer Orders module, which allows our client to connect their order processes directly to their back office, and Admin Tools, which allow them to configure ad hoc every aspect of their sales campaigns."
