Adam McManaman of Orlando Donates Inheritance to Animal Charity

Orlando, FL, May 25, 2017 (Newswire.com) - When Adam McManaman was a young child, his grandparents had made him realize the importance of giving. They also told him that three groups of beings did not have a true voice: the children, the elderly, and the animals. He never forgot those words that he heard 30 years ago.

Adam McManaman's grandfather died several years ago and, sadly, his grandmother passed away a month ago. She left her money to Adam, who figured out a way to use that money to stand up for the elderly, the children, and the animals. To date, Adam McManaman of Orlando, has been able to raise a total of $1.2 million thanks to the matching challenge and his grandmother's inheritance. This has enabled the PAWS charity to pay off their mortgage, and invest the remaining funds in better services and care for the animals that come to them.

The reason why Adam McManaman chose PAWS was because his grandmother volunteered there until her dying days. She had a true love for animals, and fully believed in the work that was being done by the organization. It was her husband who first introduced her to PAWS, suggesting that it might give her something to do out of the house.

Meanwhile, Adam McManaman also wanted to make sure that children would benefit from the matching challenge, which he has achieved through the Rattlesnake Reading Runners, which is a reading group for young children. The young 'rattlesnakes' will read out loud to the various animals in the PAWS center, which has proven benefits for the animals.

These activities are beneficial for the animals because the love and attention of a child is pure and unconditional. Meanwhile, the children benefit because they gain more knowledge about animals, improve on their reading skills, and increase their level of confidence.

Last but not least, Adam McManaman wanted to make sure the donation benefited the elderly. He has done this by sponsoring a will-writing service that specifically includes information on how the pets should be handled after their owner dies. Adam McManaman says: "The only thing I regret is that my grandparents aren't here to see what their money is doing for the community. I know they would have been proud of me, but mainly they would have been so proud of their community."

Adam McManaman's grandparents often spoke to him about the fact that nobody should ever have to put something off until another time - the present is for living. PAWS was what gave Adam McManaman's grandmother joy and pleasure in her final years, spending time with animals and children, and keeping her active.
