Manila, Philippines, September 8, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Due to the forthcoming Presidential Elections in May next year, it has been decided that ADAS 2016 will now be re-scheduled and be held from 28-30 September 2016 and not as originally planned 8-10 March. The event will be held at the World Trade Centre, Metro Manila.
Following the resounding success of the inaugural launch of the ADAS Series in 2014, it has, in its short history established itself as the Key Defence, Security and Crisis Management Event serving the Philippines and the Asia Pacific Region. ADAS 2016 will again be fully endorsed and supported by the Philippine Department of National Defence, the Coast Guard, the Office for Transportation Security and other relevant Government Agencies.

As from May 2016, the new President Elect and his Administration will be responsible for concluding Phase I of President Aquino's AFP Modernization Program scheduled to be completed in 2017 together with the implementation of Phase II of the Program, code name "The Second Horizon" covering the period 2018-2022. ADAS 2016 will therefore provide a timely opportunity for the international Defence Industry to showcase their latest equipment, systems and technology to key decision makers to meet the needs and requirements of the Philippine Government and other Government Agencies in the Asia Pacific Region who will be attending the Event.
Occupying circa 10,000 square metres of exhibition space, ADAS 2016 is expected to attract over 200 exhibitors from 30 ountries and 8,000 international visitors from 50 countries underscoring the importance of the ADAS Series as one of the most important regional Shows for Defence, Security and Crisis Management Agency personnel to meet, evaluate equipment and share experiences.
