Online, March 26, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Social networking site Facebook has become the most visited website in America, beating Google to the top spot in a recent analogy. Online research firm Hitwise claimed Facebook became the most visited website for the week ending 13th March 2010.
Facebook now receives 7.07 per cent of American web traffic while Google remains close behind with 7.03 per cent. These figures confirm the increasing popularity of social networking and the potential for social media advertising.
