Advanced Menu Systems Announces LED Retrofit Kit for Indoor and Outdoor Menu Boards

AMS' LED Retrofit Kit is available for standard 16-inch and 24-inch wide Lift & Drop grid menu boards.

Specifically designed to facilitate an easy transition from fluorescent light sources to LEDs in menu boards, AMS' LED Retrofit Kit features an innovative LED-Array light source from ION™ Light Engines. This unique illumination source utilizes low voltage, Class II power. AMS' Retrofit Kit is a simple and cost-effective way for QSRs and Fast Casual restaurants to quickly and easily realize new energy efficiencies without having to replace existing menu boards.

With an emphasis on graphics illumination, energy-efficiency, functionality and maintenance-free operation, AMS' LED Retrofit Kits reduce energy consumption 65% over conventional menu boards using fluorescent lamps. The LED Retrofit Kit will last a minimum of nine years when operated an average of 18 hours per day. LEDs last from 60,000 to 100,000 hours, and contain no mercury, heavy metals or hazardous materials

The LED Retrofit Kit is configured for easy mounting into existing menu boards. The fluorescent lamps are removed and the LED-Array is mounted to the back panel of the menu board and connected to the low voltage DC remote power supply.
