Advocacy Group Inc. Welcomes Jim Eltringham

Jim Eltringham joins AGI as Vice President; AGI continues to grow in a slow economy thanks to "hands-on, campaign-style" approach

Grassroots issue campaign veteran Jim Eltringham joins Advocacy Group Inc. as a Vice President this week, specializing in issue campaigns which merge online and offline tactics to deliver maximum impact.

"The Advocacy Group's success stems from our hands-on, campaign-style approach," said President Mike Gibson. "That's why we think Jim is such a good fit."

"I am excited to help deliver the type of high-caliber results clients have come to expect from AGI," said Eltringham, who brings a decade of public affairs and issue advocacy experience. "AGI creates measurable impact for clients in a variety of arenas - from in-district grassroots and grasstops campaigns to social networks and online activism."

"In an industry where too many rely on 'checking boxes', the Advocacy Group provides clients with highly tailored, strategically crafted solutions to forge a path to victory," said Gibson. "That's why the Advocacy Group continues to grow and add talent, even in a slow economy."

Previously, Eltringham served as a Director of Grassroots Campaigns at Mercury, specializing in in-state and in-district field efforts to generate national policy impact. Eltringham has designed and implemented campaigns for a range of companies and trade associations and managed national public relations efforts. A frequent lecturer on grassroots mobilization, online tactics, and public relations, Eltringham has spoken to audiences ranging from campaign veterans to international activists to independent filmmakers to political science classes.
