AE3Q Awarded Residential Energy Audit Consulting Services for City Of Phoenix
Mesa, AZ - September 2010 AE3Q has been awarded the City of Phoenix Energy Audit Consultant for the Weatherization and Housing Rehabilitation Activities
Online, September 10, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Saving money... Who doesn't want to save money? Why not save money while saving energy and still be comfortable in your home. The City of Phoenix in Arizona has a program for their residence to do just that. The main portion of the program is the baseline auditing and confirmation auditing, which task has been awarded to AE3Q.
Once a homeowner has been approved for the program, AE3Q visits the property and performs an energy audit. It is a whole house approach. An AE3Q team evaluates building structure, from the roof top to the foundation. The report is given to the City of Phoenix, who hires a contractor to perform energy efficient improvements on the home. After the work is complete, AE3Q performs a final quality check audit, to ensure all improvements were performed. Now the home is more energy efficient and the homeowner is educated on energy efficiency practices. Therefore using less energy and having lower energy bills.
This is AE3Q's 2nd year assisting with the program. "The City of Phoenix project managers are friendly and a pleasure to work with," reports Desiree, an AE3Q representative.
