AE3Q Named Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists
Online, November 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - What is CAPS? The acronym stands for Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists. What training was involved? National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) training program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills, specifically for home modifications for the aging-in-place. AE3Q completed the following courses Marketing & Communications Strategies for Aging & Accessibility, Design/Build Solutions for Aging & Accessibility and Business Management for Building Professionals.
AE3Q has been helping homeowners with installing and verification testing for energy efficiency projects (i.e. heating, ventilating, air conditioning, insulation, water heaters, windows, and doors). While working on these projects, AE3Q saw the benefit for helping those residents who are aging and need to remodel their home to make their life a little easier to get around. Therefore, the knowledge gained from the classes is a benefit the AE3Q residential remodeling clients.
