Agencies in Singapore and Turkey Selected for ICOM Membership
Online, June 16, 2012 (Newswire.com) - ROLLINSVILLE, COLORADO (USA)--ICOM (http://www.icomagencies.com) , a leading global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies, has appointed Paprika, Singapore, and THE, Istanbul, to represent the network in their respective markets.
Handling both local and internationally recognized clients, Paprika offers integrated services, with a focus on digital marketing that can become a regional resource for ICOM members in this important and fast-expanding segment, according to ICOM Executive Director Gary Burandt. Among the highly recognizable clients on the agency's roster are AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Microsoft, New Balance, Seagate and Timberland.
In Turkey, THE is a young, fast-growing agency staffed by multinational veterans. The agency, which represents a number of local and international clients, including Enza, Erdemir, Flormar, MatraÅŸ, Renault-Trucks, Simfer, TAV Construction and YataÅŸ, operates in a dynamic market that is an important bridge between the East and West. In 2011, THE won five awards in national and international festivals, including a bronze Epica.
"It's important for ICOM and our roster of international clients to have agency representation in all markets in today's world," said Mr. Burandt. "These agencies share the values, goals and philosophy of our membership and are valuable additions to our network," he added.
ICOM is the most geographically balanced of the international independent advertising and marketing communications networks and has more than 70 member agencies in 50-plus countries. The network is organized into four geographic regions: Asia/Pacific, EMEA, Latin America and North America. Founded in 1950 as the National Federation of Advertising Agencies, ICOM offers clients an alternative to the huge and increasingly similar agency groups. Today, the network has billings of US$2.4 billion and gross income exceeding US$390 million.
