Aggrigator™ Food Hub Network Expands to Harvest Santa Barbara

Aggrigator™ today announced the expansion of their food hub network to include Harvest Santa Barbara, a $2M food hub working with 100 local small farmers in the region.  This brings an opportunity to network the farmers and the buyers from both the Watsonville and Santa Barbara food hubs to deliver year-round produce and expanded product offerings to both the Bay Area and Los Angeles markets.

“Building a network of food hubs is something that has never been done before,” said Doug Peterson, President Aggrigator™, “We’re giving small farmers the chance to expand their reach while creating the ability to develop consistent year around programs for buyers.”

“We are excited to be on the front of bringing technology to a vital but often overlooked segment of the industry.” Said Jasper Eiler, President Harvest Santa Barbara, “Joining forces with Aggrigator™ allows us to support historically under-represented communities, improving the health of the local economy.”

Aggrigator™, lead by Doug Peterson and Elevate Innovation Partners (a NY Venture Capital firm) is uniquely positioned to support small local farming across multiple regions and improve access to fresh local produce. The ability to pull this off is powered by the Aggrigator™ platform which manages the crop plans, product availability, inventory, orders, and invoices. The Aggrigator™ platform removes traditional barriers to developing scalable local programs with small growers.

“EIP invested and has developed a strong partnership with Aggrigator due to the vision and business transformation that Aggrigator provides to the Agro-Ecosystem. Over the last six months, we have been working closely with the management team to build and enhance the vision. The expansion into Santa Barbara is a big step for the company as we build the network of interconnected food hubs in the Agro marketplace. The team at EIP including Sridhar Chityala, Thomas Rudy, and Shreyas Slater Chityala will continue to assist the growth and success of Aggrigator,” said the EIP team.
