Agilis Consulting Group Announces Expansion
Phoenix, Arizona, June 5, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Driven by an accelerated demand for its proven human factors and instructional design services, Agilis Consulting Group (Agilis) is expanding its core staff and broadening its service offerings. In response to intense global competition amidst a challenging regulatory environment and increased pressure to conserve resources, Agilis deepens its position as a leading global human factors firm in the medical device and drug delivery industry by adding world-class talent and skills not offered anywhere else.
With these staff changes, Agilis will be able to meet the growing demand by medical device and drug delivery manufacturers who request Agilis’ human factors and instructional design expertise and services. Agilis is excited to announce the following staff changes and additions:
Renee Bailey, formerly Manager of Instructional Design, has assumed the position of Director, Instructional Design and Creative Solutions. In this position, Ms. Bailey will lead the expansion of Agilis’ labeling and training solutions to improve the user’s experience including print, electronic and video. Additionally, she will leverage her more than 20 years of experience helping multi-national clients improve their labeling development time. Ms. Bailey’s unique expertise in this area has helped clients reduce cycle time by 40% from current methods.
Stephanie Quinn, Ph.D., has joined Agilis as Human Factors Consultant with more than nine years of experience applying human factors methods to improve user safety. Dr. Quinn’s areas of expertise include applied cognitive research, human-computer interaction and immersive virtual environments. The addition of Dr. Quinn expands Agilis’ ability to support the increasing demand for human factors work for hand-held, mobile devices. She also expands Agilis’ capacity to conduct quantitative analyses such as with competitive product evaluations.
Leah Taylor, with an MS in Biomedical Engineering, has joined Agilis as an Associate Human Factors Consultant. Most recently with The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Ms. Taylor’s expertise includes applied biomechanics research and surgical skills training, as well as data collection with surgical teams in the operating room. Ms. Taylor's expertise adds to the company’s ability to test in operating room environments as well as analysis of team interactions.
According to Jana Bodorova, Vice President and Head, Regulatory Affairs Strategy, Bayer U.S.: “The Agilis team members use their experience and expertise to provide clear and candid input, which they deliver in a collegial and professional manner. Their integrity is absolutely impeccable, and their insight is superb.”
Dr. Caleb Hernandez, DO, FACEP, Chief Medical Officer, CertaDose Inc., adds: “Agilis Consulting Group developed and delivered on a plan that delivered excellent Human Factors data and allowed us to gain FDA clearance for our Class II medical device. Not only does Agilis have the technical knowledge and expertise, but their people are great to work with and are hard workers. It's great to see a company deliver on its promise, and all within budget and deadline!”
“Agilis has experienced exponential growth in the last several years,” according to Pat Patterson, President of Agilis. “We attribute this to the fact that growth has never been our goal. The goal has always been and remains pretty simple: Help our clients optimize their devices and products for their users while achieving successful regulatory outcomes. We’re confident these professionals, together with our existing team, will enable us to provide clients with better results delivered with greater efficiency.”
