(BERLIN & Tel-Aviv) AirBase Systems, an environmental technology start-up, launches its Certified Partners Program, including 25 individuals, NGOs, and companies from 19 countries across the globe The program creates a network of resellers of AirBase's affordable, air quality monitoring technology CanarIT.

AirBase's Certified Partners Program is designed to give organizations, companies, and individuals interested in air quality monitoring, the opportunity to become a member of AirBase operations, create an air quality network of their own, and potentially create their own start-up or extend their services based on the Airbase platform. The Certified Partners are critical to realizing AirBase's local presence by harnessing air quality information for the broader public, affecting public discussions, and influencing industrial and government policies regarding air pollution.

The product, CanarIT, combines nanotechnology sensors with Internet connectivity, via Wi-Fi or GSM, to deliver air quality data to the AirBase data cloud. The data is made available on the Internet and via a future Subscription Alert service to mobile phones. The first generation of devices measures Ozone (O3), NO2, Total VOC (Volatile Organic Compound), Particulate Matter (Total Suspended Particles), Relative Humidity, Temperature, and Noise. AirBase Systems' R&D team in Israel is testing other technology to be incorporated into the device, including sensors for PM2.5, Light, and Odor.

Members of the program can purchase CanarIT technology at a discount and offer the products to their clients and local constituencies at lower rates, creating a win-win situation for Certified Partners and local communities.

Says Liad Ortar, VP of Marketing and Business Development: "AirBase was established on the principal of delivering affordable and understandable air quality information to everyone and our way of doing so, is by creating this global network of Certified Partners. We are encouraged by the number of participants in the program's first registration period. The high demand for the program demonstrates the potential of AirBase's business model as well as the general will of the public to have better information about the quality of the air they breathe."

Current Certified Partners represent the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Philippines, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United States.
