Aisle Express to Make Grocery Shopping Simple

Aisle Express is an integrated website and mobile platform that helps simplify the grocery shopping experience and makes it easier for people to prepare more meals at home.

KANSAS CITY, March 30, 2010 - Second trips to the grocery store may be a thing of the past now that Aisle Express has launched its new website. Developed as a place to create and keep track of shopping lists and recipes, the site is free to users and aims to make grocery shopping less of a chore.

"We were tired of forgetting things at the store and got together to do something about it," explains Stephanie Brantman, one of the founding partners of the new site. At the website you can search through thousands of generic and brand name grocery items to create your shopping list. The database is extensive and helpful when you need to add a specific item to your list.

The product detail is useful when you send someone to the store to pick up items. "We wanted you to be able to hand over your list to your husband or teenager and know that they would have no questions about what flavor or brand of item you needed," said Brantman. " The list takes the guess work out of shopping."

The team behind Aisle Express has plenty of ideas on how they can improve the grocery shopping experience. Included on the site is a personal recipe box where you can add and save your favorite recipes. These can be added directly to your shopping list to make planning meals for your family simple.

Additional functionality will be added over time, such as shopping lists ordered by how you shop and personal recipe boxes you can share with friends online. Explains Brantman, "The idea is that your list can be sorted by how you shop, so your items are in the order you would see them on the shelf. Our goal is for you to make one trip down each aisle and save you time.

To visit the site and create a shopping list or add recipes, go to www.aisleexpress.com. Once you have an account, you can access your shopping list anywhere using your iPhone or Android browser. "Aisle Express began from our shared frustration with figuring out what to make for dinner, and getting in and out of the grocery store as fast and efficiently as possible," says Brantman. "It's all about getting the family together for dinner."
