This sensor unit will be vital to any business that is concerned with disaster prevention plans.
New ropeWater Sensor
o Detects the presence of water if any portion of the rope becomes wet
o Customizable length enabling the rope to have a specified 'sensing' region in the target area and a non-sensing region from the rope to the sensing module
o Up to 50 meters of rope sensing is possible
o Connects to AKCP intelligent sensor ports
The ropeWater Sensor can be plugged into the AKCP sensorProbe or the AKCP securityProbe 5E intelligent sensor ports enabling the unit to measure water ingress in the location the sensor rope has been placed. This can be used to trigger alerts like e-mail, SMS, phone calls and SNMP traps. With the securityProbe 5E unique mapping feature you can place the ropeWater sensor on a map so you can quickly identify where you may have water ingression. The sensor has its own SNMP OID so that the data can be collected over the network using any Network Management System.
