Al Harrington & JR Smith Toys R Us Event

Online, December 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Denver Nuggets players Al Harrington and JR Smith will be spreading some holiday cheer at a local Denver Toys "R" Us by taking 35 under privileged children Holiday shopping.

The children are paired with Mr. Harrington and Mr. Smith by Terrance Roberts, owner of The Prodigal Son Initiative Inc., which is a non profit organization that offers after school programs for at-risk children, to bring 35 lucky boys and girls together for this special event.

Mr. Harrington says, "I am extremely excited for this up-coming event. I think it is exceptionally important to give back especially during the holidays and during these tough economic times."

While this will be the first occurrence of the Toy's "R" Us shopping affair, both Mr. Harrington and Mr. Smith plan to make it an Annual affair.
