All Aboard the Rouge Caboose, Driving Professionals to New Looks and Free Fashions

New Northern Colorado business, Rouge Caboose, takes on cluttered closets and helps local charities. Fort Collins area stylist, Georgia Michelle Yoder, launched her new business hoping to help professionals with their wardrobe.

All aboard the Rouge Caboose - the newest endeavor of Stylist Georgia Michelle Yoder. She is busy with delving into client's closets in Northern Colorado and surrounding areas, to bring in the new Spring and Summer Season. Literally, Yoder is making former styles look new by assessing and editing current wardrobes by recreating "new" looks. She further helps the community by an event of her own invention, the Free Fashion Exchange where ladies shop for free and the remaining is donated to a women's shelter.

The Idea of Rouge Caboose was born out of Georgia Michelle's love of fashion and her desire to help others, by bringing out their inner beauty to match their outer beauty. She embarked on her first adventure as a Hair Stylist, creating new looks, before and after ideas, along with educating her clients. Nevertheless, as she continues her love of working as a Hair Stylist, her love of clothes and fashion has inspired her to do more. De-cluttering closets are her specialty and she has an eye for finding those unique combinations in your wardrobe you never knew you had. "A "new" look can boost anyone's confidence and bring out their best," she states. "Plus it always wonderful to discover new styles with items you already own."

Starting through word of mouth, Rouge Caboose has already served multiple clients, male and female, in the Northern Colorado and Denver Metro area. Georgia Michelle hopes to help those going through changes in their life. From people who have lost weight to those starting a new career; many people have reasons for wanting to start a new chapter and can begin thru their wardrobe. "It's sometimes difficult to look at what you already have and realize that you can update your look just by pairing different pieces together," says Yoder, " I like to find new combinations, it's like solving a puzzle." Providing a variety of packages including services, such as closet de-cluttering, wardrobe assessment and reinvention, along with personal shopping, Georgia Michelle is positive and confident that she can revamp anyone's style.

Understanding the this difficult economy can be problematic for those looking for work, especially trying to purchase a new suit or wardrobe, Georgia Michelle decided she could help on another level. The Free Fashion Exchange encourages professional women to clean out their closet, collecting gently used items that they no longer wear or have cluttered up their closet. People can bring their items to the Exchange and "shop" other people's closets to find gems that will fit their style and in essence "exchange" the clothes for something new to them. By providing an opportunity for people to recycle former fashions and receive something in return, it keeps budgets free to spend on other household necessities.

Yoder started the Free Fashion Exchange event originally as a simple night among friends. More recently the event has become so popular that Georgia Michelle is considering looking for bigger venues that might be willing to host her quarterly, fun filled, fashion evening. Still keeping it small and exclusive for now, the event requires a reservation and only a limited number of people can attend each event. When the Free Fashion Exchange events are finished, the remaining clothes are donated to local charities, such as women's shelters, theaters and organizations that can put the clothes to good use.

The Spring Free Fashion Exchange held this May provided donations to the Crossroads Safehouse and many ladies left with amazing pieces for their closet. "This is my third Fashion Exchange," said Stacy, an attendee of the evening's festivities. "I love how Georgia knows exactly what to put together. Without her suggestion, I never would have tried on that dress - I love it!" All of the ladies at the Exchange found excellent wardrobe and accessories to take home and some time to de-stress with chair massages by Dion Harris, Moon Over the Mountain Massage & Reiki. Although this season's event is over, the Fall Free Fashion Exchange is already being scheduled. In the meantime, Rouge Caboose is open for business and looking forward to bringing out her clients' personal best.
